The siting and layout of buildings carefully took into account resident’s concerns over visual impact and noise whilst organising vehicle access and circulation arrangements to optimise operational efficiency for Welch’s Transport. The resulting buildings whilst built to an industrial specification are attractive and highly visible to the nearby A505 trunk road. At the same time the layout exploits site levels to conceal much of the developments 9.5 acre presence to adjacent residential properties.
