DaltonMuscat Architects are delighted to have formed part of the team to help deliver a new large-scale manufacturing facility for CMR Surgical – a global surgical robotics business  in Cambridgeshire, UK. The facility will enable upscaled manufacturing processes to meet the increasing global demand for the Versius® Surgical Robotic System, a surgical robot tool used by major hospitals worldwide.  The project was successfully delivered within a very tight timescale. It has been awarded Best Commercial Project at the Eastern Echo Awards organised by The Property Forums 2023.

 

Green credentials comprise green roofs, electric vehicle charging stations, rainwater harvesting and re-use for staff toilets, and a full roof PV array. The project is on track to achieve BREEAM Very Good.
