DaltonMuscat Architects were engaged by MPM Properties (PS) Ltd in 2014  to design a student accommodation scheme in central Cambridge.  The development replaces the Hilltop Day Centre, a visually indiff erent building that did little to preserve or enhance this Conservation Area.  The new building largely sits on the original building's footprint but exploits the site levels and original retaining structures to create usable lower ground habitable space.  The layout comprises 30 open plan studio apartments each having its own facilities including kitchenette and en-suite shower room.
