Greville Road

Project:          Private Houses
Location:       Cambridge
Comprising:  2 semi-detached town houses

Dalton Muscat Architects were commissioned by a private client to design two new semi-detached town houses, one for each of their children.  Greville Road is located to the South of Cambridge City and is characterised predominantly by 1930s semi-detached and detached houses with a mix of red and buff brick and render. Bay windows are also highly typical of these houses. The design uses similar traditional materials and features in a way which lends a more contemporary look to the development.

Various sustainable features have been incorporated into the design ranging from enhanced external wall insulation, air source heat pumps, electric vehicle charging points and solar panels.  DMA Architects have been successful in securing planning consent for the proposals and the project is currently under construction.
